2:15pm -2:45pm – Ad Insertion Made Easy – Steve Doll,  D2D Technologies
Everyday tens of thousands of advertising opportunities go by unused at LPTV stations across the country. For many LPTV stations, the cost of a sales team to manage contracts and a traffic department to orchestrate playout is cost prohibitive. This leads to stations not taking advantage of local insertion avails offered by content providers. Find out more about D2Insert Ad Insertion Network at this session.

3:00pm-3:30pm –TV Viewing Landscape – Jim Long – CEO of Didja, Inc.
Jim will take a look at the changing TV Viewing Landscape of all methods of delivery, and will discuss why Local TV Streaming is the next major linear growth area that is critical to the success of ATSC-3.0, and how it can lower costs for stations deploying ATSC-3.0. He will also give an update on Didja’s LocalBTV platform/apps now serving ~50 DMAs

3:45pm-4:15pm – The All in One Filter – Mike Spugnardi, Dielectric
In a typical television or radio RF system a switch is introduced between the filter and transmission line. The switch gives the broadcaster the capability of proofing the transmitter into the RF load, or when trouble shooting high VSWR they can switch into load to determine if the problem is in the filter or transmission line and antenna. The switch is an additional path and an electronic device. What if you could eliminate that electronic component from the system but still have the same benefits all while having less parts?

4:30pm-5:00pm – DUE TO ILLNESS, Holly Saurer, FCC Media Bureau Chief did not make it to Las Vegas and will not be joining us.  ATBA counsel Ari Meltzer will update us on LPTV issues.
