FCC Chairman Ajit Pai on Tuesday offered a general assessment of what the Commission has accomplished in recent months while presenting a fiscal 2020 budget request that trims its 2019 dollars by a few million dollars.

Testifying before the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee, Pai offered a budget request that reflects the Commission’s OMB-designated spending level of $335.66 million in fiscal 2020, derived exclusively from regulatory fees.

At the same time, an auction spending cap of $132,538,680 was presented.
