ELGIN, IL, August, 28 2025 – DTV Innovations is pleased to announce that MetaWright 3, DTVI’s ATSC 3.0/NextgenTV and TV3.0/DTV+ Solution, now operates seamlessly on its latest custom hardware solution OX-4. Together, they deliver the most compact, the most cost-effective solution on the market. With power consumption under 40 watts, the system provides long-term operational savings through reduced energy costs.
The OX-4 marks the next generation of DTVI’s hardware evolution, building on the successful OX-1. Despite its ultra-compact footprint of just 1.75”H x 4.63”W x 9.63”D (4.445cm x 11.76cm x 24.46cm), the OX-4 is packed with advanced features: four 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, 4-lane PCIe slot, expansion for terrestrial or Satellite RF modules, and more than enough storage and memory to power demanding broadcast and streaming applications.
MetaWright 3 is DTVI’s ATSC 3.0/NextGenTV and TV3.0/DTV+ software solution incorporating Signaling and Service Announcement, ROUTE/MMT encapsulation and Broadcast Gateway. The version which is installed in OX-4 also includes multiple files and Transport Streams player, enabling the system to serve as a complete stand-alone ATSC 3.0/TV 3.0 test equipment. In standard applications, the file player may also be used in disaster recovery mode.
The MetaWright 3/OX-4 combination solution was first introduced to the public last week at CIS Group booth during SET Expo in Sao Paulo Brazil. With its ultra-compact 1/4RU form factor, it is the most space efficient ATSC 3.0/TV 3.0 solution currently available. By comparison, competing systems typically require dual 1RU servers—making the MetaWright 3/OX-4 eight times more space efficient.
