At the recent Society of Broadcast Engineers annual national awards, ATSC President Mark Richer hailed the collaboration of broadcast industry players for last year’s development of ATSC 3.0.
Richer outlined a history of the standards-setting process for digital TV and ATSC 3.0, and announced that work continues to ensure a smooth road ahead for deployment of the standard and its many features.
Richer spoke of “The Road Ahead” on his journey to Next Gen TV.
