The broadcasting and technology partners worked together to deliver the Winter Games from PyeongChang to an audience at an event at North Carolina State University, in 4K. Marking the first over-the-air broadcast of the new Dolby AC4 format, the transmission used Layer Division Multiplexing technology and new interactive applications to enhance the TV experience for viewers.
